Roues au salami calabrese piquant et fromage

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 emballage de salami calabrese piquant MastroMD
  • 1 emballage de feuilles de pâte feuilletée (1 feuille)
  • 1 gros œuf
  • 1 cuillère à soupe d’eau
  • 1/2 tasse de poivrons rouges rôtis, coupés
  • 1/2 tasse de mozzarella râpée
  • 1/4 oignon rouge cuit

Directions

  • Préchauffer le four à 400F.
  • Déplier la feuille de pâte feuilletée (conseil : se servir de farine pour la surface et pour que la pâte soit moins collante). Abaisser la pâte feuilletée de manière à ce qu’il n’y ait pas de bulles.
  • Battre l’œuf et l’eau dans un petit bol. Badigeonner la pâte du mélange d’œuf et d’eau (tout en en gardant un peu pour plus tard).
  • Disposer les tranches de salami calabrese piquant MastroMD sur la pâte feuilletée et ajouter la mozzarella râpée, les poivrons rouges rôtis et les oignons rouges cuits.
  • Roulez la pâte.
  • Couper en 10 tranches égales et les déposer sur une plaque à pâtisserie. Badigeonner ensuite légèrement le reste du mélange d’œuf et d’eau sur le dessus des roues.
  • Faire cuire au four durant 14 à 18 minutes ou jusqu’à ce que les roues soient dorées.
  • Conseil : Essayer d’ajouter différents fromages pour obtenir des saveurs plus prononcées.

Make this most of your time this March Break with this easy breakfast! You can even involve the kids to help wrap the croissants with cheese and Mastro®️ Prosciutto Cotto 🥐

Ingredients
1 container of pre-packaged crescent rolls
1 package (125 g) Mastro Prosciutto Cotto
16 thin slices of white cheddar cheese

Directions
1. Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees and take out an ungreased baking sheet.
2. Separate dough into triangles and place 1 piece of prosciutto cotto on each piece of dough
3. Place 2 strips of cheddar cheese down the center of the prosciutto cotto.
4. Roll up each piece of dough, from the wide end to skinny end of the triangle
5. Place on baking sheet with a bit of room between each crescent for it to expand
6. Bake 15 to 19 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm.

Tip: Swap your cheese for a Swiss or Brie for added flavour!
