Pain au prosciutto San Daniele, à la sauge et à l’ail

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pain français moyen à gros, au choix
  • 4 tranches de prosciutto San Daniele, coupées en deux
  • 10 à 12 feuilles de sauge
  • 1 c. à table de feuilles de thym frais
  • 1 c. à table de romarin frais
  • 1 tasse de beurre
  • 2 gousses d’ail
  • Flocons de sel de mer et poivre

Directions

  • Préchauffer le four (et une pierre de cuisson si l’on en fait usage) à 350 degrés.
  • Tapisser la plaque à pâtisserie de papier parchemin.
  • Avec un robot culinaire, combiner les fines herbes, l’ail et le beurre afin d’en créer une tartinade.
  • Trancher soigneusement le pain en tranches de 2 cm au moyen d’un couteau dentelé, tout en s’assurant que les tranches ne se détachent pas. On cherche à obtenir environ 8 tranches, selon la taille du pain.
  • Avec un couteau à beurre ou une spatule coudée, tartiner les tranches et le dessus du pain avec le mélange de beurre aux fines herbes. Ne pas avoir peur de tartiner généreusement!
  • Placer les demi-tranches de prosciutto San DanieleMD et les feuilles de sauge entre les tranches de pain. S’assurer que les feuilles de sauge sont près du dessus des tranches, afin qu’elles deviennent croustillantes.
  • Saupoudrer des flocons de sel de mer et du poivre, au goût.
  • Transférer au four et faire cuire pendant 15 à 20 minutes, jusqu’à ce que le pain soit doré.
  • Retirer du four et servir immédiatement. Régalez-vous!
