Gratin de pâtes à saveur de pizza au pepperoni Mastro

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 emballage de pepperoni Mastro
  • 1 pot (650 ml) de sauce tomate pour pâtes
  • 2 tasses de fromage mozzarella râpé
  • 1 lb de fusilli
  • Feuilles de basilic
  • Sel et poivre au goût

Directions

  • Portez une grande casserole d’eau salée à ébullition à feu vif. Ajouter les fusilli, réduire le feu à moyen-élevé et faire cuire jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient al dente.
  • Réserver 1/2 tasse d’eau de cuisson, puis égoutter les pâtes.
  • Pendant que les pâtes sont dans la passoire, mélanger l’eau de cuisson réservée avec le pot de sauce tomate et faire chauffer pendant 2 minutes à feu moyen.
  • Combiner les fusilli à la sauce pour pâtes dans la casserole
  • Par sections, verser les pâtes et la sauce dans une casserole en fonte (ou un plat de cuisson allant au four), y déposer 5 à 10 tranches de pepperoni Mastro et une poignée de fromage sur le dessus. Répéter 2 ou 3 fois, en terminant par le fromage râpé et le pepperoni Mastro.
  • Couvrir d’une feuille d’aluminium légèrement graissée et faire cuire au four à 350 degrés F pendant 20 minutes ou jusqu’à ce que le tout soit bien chaud.
  • Découvrir et saupoudrer de fromage. Faire cuire pendant 10 autres minutes, jusqu’à ce que le fromage ait commencé à brunir.
