Pizza aux oignons grillés et au prosciutto

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 oignon rouge, coupé en tranches de 1/4 pouce (5 mm) dans le sens de la largeur 
  • 1/4 tasse (60 ml) d'huile d'olive, divisée
  • 1 lb (500 g) de pâte à pizza préparée
  • 1 tasse (250 ml) de mozzarella râpée
  • 1/3 tasse (75 ml) de fromage bleu émietté
  • 1 paquet (125 g) de Prosciutto San DanieleMD haché
  • 1 tasse (250 ml) de jeunes pousses de roquette
  • 1/3 tasse (75 ml) de noix de Grenoble, grillées et hachées
  • 2 c. à table (30 ml) de miel

Directions

  • Préchauffer le barbecue à feu moyen-vif. Badigeonner les tranches d'oignon avec 1 c. à table (15 ml) d'huile. Griller, en retournant une fois en cours de cuisson, de 3 à 4 minutes de chaque côté ou jusqu'à ce que les oignons soient tendres et dorés; réserver.
  • Sur une surface légèrement farinée, étaler la pâte à pizza en un rectangle d'environ 1/4 de pouce (5 mm) d'épaisseur; badigeonner de 2 c. à soupe (30 ml) d'huile d'olive. Côté huilé vers le bas, poser la pâte directement sur le gril; faire griller de 2 à 3 minutes ou jusqu'à ce que la surface commence à bouillonner et que le fond porte les marques de la grille. À l'aide d'une pince, retourner et faire cuire de 2 à 3 minutes ou jusqu'à ce que le dessous ne soit plus pâteux. Retirer de la grille.
  • Badigeonner la croûte de l'huile d'olive restante; saupoudrer de mozzarella, de fromage bleu et d'oignon grillé. Retourner au barbecue; couvercle fermé, cuire à chaleur indirecte de 5 à 7 minutes ou jusqu'à ce que le fromage ait fondu.
  • Retirer de la grille; garnir de prosciutto et de roquette. Saupoudrer de noix de Grenoble hachées et arroser de miel.
  • Astuce : pour griller les noix, préchauffer le four à 350 °F (180 °C). Étendre les noix en une couche régulière sur une plaque à pâtisserie; cuire au four de 5 à 10 minutes ou jusqu'à ce que le mélange soit parfumé et doré.

Ingredients
1 container of pre-packaged crescent rolls
1 package (125 g) Mastro Prosciutto Cotto
16 thin slices of white cheddar cheese

Directions
1. Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees and take out an ungreased baking sheet.
2. Separate dough into triangles and place 1 piece of prosciutto cotto on each piece of dough
3. Place 2 strips of cheddar cheese down the center of the prosciutto cotto.
4. Roll up each piece of dough, from the wide end to skinny end of the triangle
5. Place on baking sheet with a bit of room between each crescent for it to expand
6. Bake 15 to 19 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm.

Tip: Swap your cheese for a Swiss or Brie for added flavour!
