‘Tis the Season for delightful charcuterie brunches

INGREDIENTS

  • Mastro Charcuterie Trio European Flavours
  • Selection of Cheese - Manchego and Saint Andre
  • Selection of Jams - Cherry and Apricot
  • Mixed Nuts
  • Sugared Cranberries
  • Greek Vanilla Yogurt
  • Bagels, Waffles, Crackers and Palmiers
  • Maple Syrup
  • Fresh Avocado

Directions

  • Select a large wooden board or platter that gives enough room for all the ingredients while maintaining a clean, organized look. Brunch is typically casual but visually appealing.
  • Start by folding Mastro Charcuterie Trio Signature Flavours and placing them in various spots around the board. These savory meats add rich, salty flavors to the brunch.
  • Slice Manchego Cheese into thin wedges or cubes. This firm, nutty cheese contrasts nicely with both sweet jams and savory meats
  • Cut Saint Andre cheese into small portions to add a rich, buttery texture that pairs well with the sweeter elements
  • Add Cherry and Apricot Jams placing the jams in small bowls or jars on the board. These add a sweet and fruity flavor to complement the cheeses and meats. Serve with small spoons or spreaders for easy access.
  • Arrange the Bread and Pastries Bagels in a neat pile. You can also include mini bagels for bite-sized options.
  • Cut waffles into small squares or wedges for easy grabbing. These will go perfectly with maple syrup and yogurt.
  • Scatter crackers around the meats and cheeses for easy pairing with the savory elements.
  • Palmiers are light and crispy pastries that add a sweet taste. Arrange them near the sugared cranberries or jams for an indulgent treat
  • Create a Yogurt and Maple Syrup Station Pouring the yogurt into a small bowl and place it on the board. It can be served as a creamy, tangy dip for the waffles, bagels, or fruit
  • Serve Maple Syrup in a small container alongside the yogurt and waffles for drizzling. The syrup adds a touch of sweetness that ties the brunch board together
  • Add sugared Cranberries by scattering these around the board. Their sweet-tart flavor and sparkly appearance add a touch of festivity and texture to the spread.
  • You can also include any additional fresh fruits (optional) like berries or citrus slices to brighten up the board.
  • Use fresh avocado to incorporate Savory Elements to the brunch charcuterie board. Place the slices near the bagels and meats. Avocado can be eaten on its own or spread onto bagels or crackers for a creamy, fresh bite.
  • Scatter a mix of nuts around the board in small piles to fill gaps. Their crunchy texture provides a nice balance to the creamy cheese and yogurt.
  • Use fresh herbs like thyme or mint (optional) for a pop of color and freshness.
  • Arrange everything in a way that balances color, texture, and flavors. Make sure there’s an even spread of savory (meats, cheeses, avocado) and sweet (yogurt, waffles, jams, sugared cranberries).
